Returns & Refunds

If you're unhappy with your purchase for whatever reason, please let us know. We value your custom and want you to be genuinely satisfied with your purchase.

You have the right to return your purchase within 14 days of the date you received your item(s).  To receive a refund, we must be notified within 14 days of receipt; items must be returned unopened and in their original condition as when they left us. Buyers are responsible for the cost of returning the item(s). We’ll refund your order once we’ve received and processed the safely returned item within 30 calendar days.

Under the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000 you have a duty to take reasonable care of the Products whilst they are in your possession. Where you have failed to take reasonable care of the Products, we reserve the right to refund you less any amounts due by way of compensation to either repair the Products or to cover any loss. For paint products that have been opened or damaged, we reserve the right to not issue a refund.

Details of our Returns & Refunds policy is as follows:-

Returns – Private United Kingdom customers have certain cancellation rights under the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000 (the Regulations). Claire's CraftHouse Limited offers the following returns policy:

(a). Returns of unopened resaleable items are accepted within 14 days from date of purchase with a valid proof of purchase (b). Any customer wishing to exercise this right must notify the vendor at either of the following: in writing to Claire's CraftHouse Limited, Unit 3, Coppice Garden Centre, Coppice Lane, Middleton, Staffordshire, B78 2BU, (addressed to Customer Services Team), by telephone +44 (0)121 308 7828 or email to support@clairescrafthouse.co.uk.  (c). As a further condition of the right to return, customers must also arrange (at their own expense) to return the goods in a saleable condition to the address referred to in (b) above as soon as possible. If the vendor pays the return cost then this will be deducted from any refund. Orders that qualified for free shipping, will have the appropriate P&P fee deducted from any refund, if the returned goods means the original order falls under the financial threshold and no longer qualifies for free shipping. The goods will be deemed returned when actually received by the vendor at the said address. (d). Pending the return of the goods they must be kept in good condition.(e). Customers shall be entitled to a full refund (less any charges referred to in (c) above) on full compliance with the foregoing i. Any goods made to customers’ specifications or clearly personalised are excluded from the right to cancel ii. The following are bespoke products, manufactured specifically to order and therefore non-returnable –personalised items and special colour matches

If, on arrival of your order, the item(s) are damaged, please use the customer services form below or alternatively contact us on 0121 308 7828 or support@clairescrafthouse.co.uk to arrange a replacement.

If after making a purchase you wish to cancel your order, you will receive a full refund immediately as long as your order has not been dispatched. If your order has been dispatched but not reached its destination, you will receive your refund once your order has been returned to us.

Non-Personalised Items
I include lots of photos and an accurate, detailed description of each item, so I certainly hope you won't find yourself disappointed with your purchase. That said, I don't want any unhappy customers so if you let me know within 14 days of receiving your goods that you wish to return, I'll be pleased to help. I appreciate your understanding that I can only refund the price of the item(s) returned, not the original delivery cost.

Personalised Items
These items may not be returned unless they are faulty or the personalisation differs to your original order. Please notify within 48 hours of receipt if there is a problem. Replaced items will be replaced on a like for like basis, according to your original order (i.e. with no changes to the original order such as spelling or other amendments).
